Messages, the way they should work
Edit a typo, reply to anything, delete for yourself or for everyone. See when your message was delivered and read — or turn that off if you don't want to.
Voice notes that listen back
Hold to record, drag to lock, swipe to cancel. Scrub through the waveform, listen at 1.5× or 2× speed, and keep listening while you switch apps or lock the screen.

Photos, videos, documents — together in one album. Swipe through a chat's entire media history. Saved locally so it loads instantly the next time you open it.
Lock the whole app
Open OBSIDIAN with your fingerprint or face. Anyone who picks up your phone sees nothing — not your chats, not the names of the people you talk to.
Group chats

Messages that disappear
Set a chat to wipe itself every hour, every six hours, every day. Old messages vanish from your phone and from our servers on the schedule you choose.
Hide when you were online
Turn off your last-seen time, your green dot, your read receipts, your typing indicator. Each one is a separate switch.
Block anyone, anytime
A blocked person can't message you, can't see your profile, can't tell you blocked them. Unblock just as easily.
Delete on your terms
Wipe a single message, an entire chat, or your whole account. When the account is gone, it's gone — from our side within 30 days.
